Why Common Sense first, Technology Second — Life Lessons

Sometimes life is preventable but at the same time thing happen for a reason and a season. A life is a life and technology is technology, common sense must stand in the gap to save a life or prevent death.

Babies and animals are at our mercy and must be protected at all times and in all situations. Technology should never be trusted as a babysitter or dog-sitter! Every year especially in the summer when the temperature reach three digits, these causalities happens. You’d think that extra precaution would be taken during these dangerous high temperature times. Yes, I know we all get busy and preoccupied but we don’t forget to get ourselves out of a hot car. Hello! The same care should be expended to others, animals and little humans.

Commonsense has been replaced with technology and that’s a dangerous thing. Technology is designed to fail by nature at some point. It’s just the way it is. Last week a driver was at the wheel dead asleep with her car on automatic pilot as many cars drove past. Someone videotaped her and reported it. She is not only a danger to herself but others. Her license should be revoked and given a stiff penalty to set a precedence for…
