What the HECK is ‘Situationship’?

I have not quite gotten a grasp of “friends with benefits, now we have Situationship!! Is that really a word!!!?? One more way of dating added to many others like, “friends with benefits”, “fuck buddies”, “bootycalls”, “hanging out” and “it’s complicated”

On television on I heard a couple of host talking about Situaionship and I thought, “really?” Is this another term to be different or act different in some manner.

Everything in life has it pros and cons. Knowledge maybe expensive but ignorance is deadly.

Did a little research and discovered that there is much talk about “Situationship”. Supposedly it’s all about a dating dynamic. According to @DamonaHoffman, a dating coach and host of the “Dates&Mates” podcast, “A sistuationship is a romantic connection that in most cases serves a short-term need in one of both partners but may or may not evolve into something more stable or meaningful”.

Really?! I wonder if Situationship includes sex or not. If yes, then it’s just “friends with benefits”, if no, then you’re just friends for the moment in a friendship or relationship. Life is…
