Simple do’s speaks volume in the body and to the body.
Things to do to make yourself look and feel good along with a good consistent workout routine.
First, begin and end everyday with drinking water. Drinking lots of water, hot or cold, hydrates the entire body, aids in elimination and nourishes the skin. Also, it curbs bloating, dehydration, and discomfort. Water also shapes the cells in our bodies. When cells are not hydrated they shrink up. Water affect the fat cells and helps with weight management. Too much water retention in the body, may be due to salt intake. Reduce and/or eliminate salt intake. Your body responds to hydration like a duck to water!! LOL
Secondly, eat lots of fiber everyday from your vegetables and some complex carbohydrates. Different colors of vegetables are comprised of fiber and each possess it’s own individual antioxidants that serves different purposes in the body. Vegetables will keep you full longer, unlike refine carbs that makes you hungry faster and feeds your cravings. Ideally, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts and seed are great sources of fiber.
Third, be mindful of your portion sizes. You don’t have to eat everything that is on your plate, especially when dinning out. As you eat, beware of your intake and when the body is truly satisfied. Mindless eating will leave you stuffed and bloated. I have learned to use smaller plates when dinning at home because it makes you aware of your intake. Keep in mind you don’t have to eat the traditional large portion sizes nowadays.
Since my eating challenge, whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, when eating out, I remained in full attention to my intake and when my body was satisfied and the leftovers were was…
