What does God Say, Life is in his Hand? The Impossible Decision!
Doctors are not God! How can you say yes to one and no to the other? Doesn’t both deserve life?
These two conjoined babies are in God’s hands. God the creator of life, does all for a reason and a season. Often, we cannot and do not understand God ways but must accept what is and live the best we can. As a parent, it has to be heart breaking to make such a decision to keep one child over another. I cannot even phantom having to make this decision and living with it. Feel of discontent would be everlasting. There is one thing about making the decision and another thing living with that decisive. Each could lead to much anguish and heartbreak.
As I stumbled upon this story I was mystified how parents or doctors chose to proceed in separating two lives and ending one life over the over. This sounded like playing God. If God had allowed these conjoined twins to be born in this manner what right does man or doctor have to separate or to end one life and possibly both during the procedure.
Three years ago in Senegal, God allowed these two babies, Marieme and Ngeye, to be born as conjoined twins sharing the same body but each having their own heart and mind.
