The Real Talk About Instagram Changes

Instagram contemplates hiding likes and counts! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Everyone’s connecting and enjoying the moments and here comes more changes! Why, Why Instagram?? Why Now?

Just when everyone is enjoying the views and likes and connecting, the only one who is unhappy is Instagram. They want to change all that’s working for some convoluted reason, but don’t the consumers get a vote or say, at the very least?

They want to make Instagram a less pressurised environment!

According to Webster, pressurised is produce or maintain raised pressure artificially in (a gas or its container). British — coerce, pressure, press, push, persuade, influence, force, squeeze, harass, brainwash, bludgeon, bully, intimidate, dragoon and on and on!!

What is this? Why and what for? What has this got to do really with Instagram changes?

Instagram is starting to experiment with hiding like counts on posts and making follower counts less prominent on profiles per Adam Mosseri, the head of product. Mr. Mosseri stated, “It’s a logical step following Instagram's recent increase efforts to prioritize mental health and encourage more mindful usage of the app.”
