January 11 2019 Friday “”Will the Real Doctors Stand Up!!”

Worked out at the gym, taught a cycling class and return home as quick as possible to relieve Ole to go to work. All was quiet and somber. Moments after returning, Mother awoke and I advise her to rest a bit more. She did as I finished my project.

This time when she awoke, I confirmed she could get up and out of the bed she came. She made up her bed and I advised her to get her rob from the bathroom and she did. I rushed down to assist and prepare breakfast. She chatted away during breakfast. She was in a really good mood. Made jokes and laugh. Even therapy was part fun when she was talking about going home, even then I made it all into a joke and she’d laugh.

Knowing she had a doctor’s appointment, I dressed early in the morning so it would not be a rush later. All day, we sat around and watch television. Was very nervous about the doctor’s appointment, because Mother gets very upset about going to the doctor for anything. Her blood pressure is high and I told her we needed to get it down to make the trip to her house. She accepted that reason for the moment. As we approached the medical building, butterflies were in my stomach. Arrived and had Mother to sit as far from the receptionist as possible so she couldn’t hear what I was saying. She…
