Love, Honor and Faith Challenging Days!!!!

There are times in life that puts one on the boundaries of wondering where does love, honor and faith begins or ends or not!!!

November 17, approximately seven am, my mother awoke fully dressed and staggered into the kitchen where I was making a pot of chicken soup. I noticed how she walked but thought perhaps she was just tired from the day before running around with me and being on my commercial shoot. Prepared her breakfast and she ate some and push the plate away for me to collect and wash. She barely spoke which was very unusual for someone who enjoys talking from sun up to sun down. I felt a little strange about what I was seeing so I contacted one of my brothers and one of my sisters. Each chatted with her and as she talked her mouth drooped to the right and her speech was slurred. My sister advised, she may have had a stroke.

I new this reality was real and began to cry and advised my mother we need to see a doctor right away. She reached out to console me as I cried and begged her to see a doctor. She kept saying, “I’m alright, I’m alright!” I insisted we go to the doctor. Being new in the area, didn’t have a clue where the nearest hospital or an urgent care facility was. A little panic began to set in for fear of not finding medical care quick enough. Being panic get you nowhere and could not help my mom as she watched my every move.
