January 24, 2019 — Thursday — “True Love Arrives, Wannabe Departs!”

“People don’t care how much you Know, until they know how much you care!!”

Today was a really special day in a lot of ways. Most importantly, it was Mother’s last day in California before returning to her homestate. It’s was truly that time and we both knew this day was coming even though for Mother it was a long time coming.

Early morning, 3:00 AM off to the gym to workout and hurried back home to get Mother ready to go with me to my 5:45 AM cycling class and then onto my Aerobics & Toning Class. When I returned, she was yet sleeping. Woke her up and got her ready as I prepared her breakfast. No therapy today, no time and perhaps not later. We both are a bit tired and need a break from it.

In the car and off to my cycling class. Arrived got Mother all set up as I prepared to teach for one hour. Was concerned if she’d sit for that long but she was great. She sat still and there was no cause for worry. Introduced my 92 year old Mother to the class as she waved her hand to them. Many of the members knew her but there were a few unfamiliar faces.
