December 29, 2018 Saturday — “Ole and I, Pompeii Exhibit Venture”

Eased out of bed quietly not to disturb mother. Put my workout clothes on, grabbed a snack and my water bottle and off to the gym I sped, making every moment count. Got my workout in and read my newspaper on the treadmill as usual. Exited with the speed of a superhero to my next commitment.

Arrived at my townhome, to manage it and make sure all was well and clean especially since the landscaper took off during the holiday. There was much work to be done. Spent about an hour there cleaning up the surrounding area. Left as quickly as I arrived.

Contacted my brother, Charles, early AM, and advised him to come and stay with Mother so Ole and I could have the free time he came to give us. My brother was very agreeable to this and I felt in my gut, it not only made him feel good but was the main purpose for his trip and to see Mother, of course.

Called home to see how Mother was doing. She was up and eating breakfast. All was calm when I arrived. Proceeded with my daily routine with Mother and the best part of this day was using the medical bathtub for the first time. It was a little cumbersome but doable. Thank God I had it. A month of sponge bathing Mother was bath overdue. Afterwards, prepared her for Charles…
