January 21, 2019 — Monday “Overload & Escaping Time”

Today started as usual, working-out, teaching cycling and back home to attend to Mother. Upon arrival, she was awake for it was a bit later than normal when I returned home so I wasn’t surprised that she was awake.

Prepared her breakfast, followed by therapy, then onto practicing how to get in and out of the bathtub on her own. As she dressed herself, I prepared for my Toastmasters Meeting. I noticed that she had returned to going to the toilet every five minutes or so. Last night was like a marathon.

Last week, she ran to the toilet constantly, I assumed it was constipation which I gave her Magnesium Citrate which seem to do the trick and she stopped running to the toilet every five minutes, literally. But last night, she started going to the toilet quite a bit again, didn’t know what to make of this occurrence. She insisted, “She had to go”. A few times, again, I forbade her to go but she insisted. What was I suppose to do? It wasn’t my body. Found myself jumping up, every time she went to the toilet. Was trying to figure this all out. For the life of me, I couldn’t imagine what was going on. After I jumped up with her so many times, I realized I would be exhausted the next morning. I allowed her to go to the toilet without me as many times as she wanted and eventually she’d stop. I went to sleep and the rest was history, or so I thought.
