Our Journey, To The Best Kept Secret on the West Coast, Year-round Lake Arrowhead Village!

Don’t have lots of vacation time and have a limited budget but wants to escape the everyday mundane of life, Lake Arrowhead is the place for YOU!

We had been working non-stop and needed some serious relaxation but had limited time to spare and a small budget to spare. So we decided that Lake Arrowhead would be the perfect oasis to get away and feel refreshed. In retrospect, it was the best decision for a fast and quick getaway!

The two hour drive felt like thirty minutes from Los Angeles. The mountains and valleys are breathtaking. Along the freeway, many stopping scenic points are designated for viewing and picture taking. We arrive very early in the morning, all was so peaceful and few tourists. Within two hours, there were visitors everywhere! Everyone was polite, nice and cordial. The weather was a bit hot, August, but all else was perfect.

Lake Arrowhead is comprised of some wonderful shops, outlets and restaurants. We highly recommend the waffle house restaurant. Great food. Another must checkout is their chocolate candy store and the cotton candy store. The outlets prices are too die for. We walked along the waterfront where all the boats, it was so romantic.
