Not A Kim Kardashian West Fan, Rethinking
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’”
When I was a kid growing up in Mississippi, I used to hear about so many Black men being put in jail or killed for supposedly committing a crime or just because they were black. Many were thrown on what they call the chain gang and treated like animals. Many either died in prison, while others came out so old and frail, barely had a will to thrive and a small few may have had a guardian angel like Kim Kardashian especially doing the Civil Rights Movement.
Over the years, I have heard the Kardashian name and seen it on social media and television and thought what all the fuss about. It’s amazing how one’s opinion starts to change when someone takes their fame and money and venture into helping others who are less fortunate. This humanitarian effort caught a glimpse from me. First, I thought what is up with this, what is the motive behind her action.
