When you know better you do better. Knowledge is always powerful especially when you use it for your betterment or another. Everyday one should seek to improve or to improve another. Life truly is reciprocal and all about choices. Your choices will not only affect your outcome but your income also. For example, eat anything you want, lots of sugar, refine carbs and see what your outcome will be. I guarantee that in a month you will not only weigh more but your clothes may become a factor in not fitting as before. Secondly, on payday, spend your entire check on things that don’t really matter and bring little reward but come instant gratification and in a months time your bills will supper, and financially you will have a deficit. These are two of the examples that depict the results of bad choices in life. Again, when you know better you do better.

DEA, Diet, Exercise & Attitude) your lifestyle!! Number 1, diet. These three elements are key to living a fulfilled lifestyle. In our fast paced society, many thinks it’s difficult to do but it really isn’t. Initially, it may take some thought and planning. Over a period of time, do it often enough and this becomes a good habit and a better lifestyle. Let’s begin with Diet, and I don’t mean some special formula to drop weight quickly and fast. Quick fixes don’t work for anyone. Has nothing to do with how much money you have or who you know or who knows you. It all has to do with what you are putting in your mouth and into your body. Garbage in is garbage out. Garbage puts the body at dis-ease with itself and thus comes disease. Diet should consist of a multitude and colors of veggies, fruits, grain, nuts, complex carbs and lots of water. One must ensure there is lots of fiber and proteins these items. Fiber slows down the absorption of sugar in the body. As you know carbs and sugar turns to fat in the body. This diet is a lifestyle and not a prescribed instant fix that doesn’t work anyway. Also, note proteins rebuild the muscles. Especially when you workout, you need more proteins.

Number 2, Exercise. Everyone, every age, all ethnicity, all genders, young and old need some form of exercise from the moment of birth. The body was designed to move and be flexible especially when you are young. As a young age, is the best time to begin some regimen of exercising. This is why it is so healthy for kids to run and play. This is so simple but due to the rise in technology this simple act of physical exercise is no longer the norm. As an elementary school teacher, the student barely like to run and too many are obese. Jumping rope, playing ball, hula hooping, etc, all is great cardio if the kids would just do it. What you do in childhood transfers over to adulthood. Hope you get where I am going with this. Adults who are out of shape and obese. Exercising is more simple than we think. Three times a day, walk, run, jog or just do anything physical. It pays off mentally and physically. Add to this little regimen some weight baring training to build muscles, three times a week. Note, you are well on your way to a better and healthier lifestyle. It truly is just that simple. The biggest effort is starting the regimen, whether you want to or not doesn’t matter but the body needs it.

Number 3, Attitude. This is the most crucial of all. Why you may ask? Because it will drive you to complete 1 and 2. Without it, you may start and stop and never change your lifestyle. To often many expect immediate results and when not obtained drops out of the game of making it happen. Roman was not built in a day and for sure no one goes to bed and wakes up fat. Weigh gain and muscle loss happen over a period of time so why expect the weight to drop off over night. This is setting yourself up for failure. Get’s some affirmations to keep you going, find a partner that gets and want to help you, get comfortable not expecting immediate results, keep the faith that you are doing the right thing, take note how you feel and think when in the DEA process. Change is inevitable if you faint not. Over time, your clothes will reflect your new reality before you may detect it with the naked eye. Keep the right attitude knowing that in time, you will see results. You attitude will determine your altitude. If you think you can, you will and if you think you can’t, you wont. Don’t allow your attitude to defeat you but to feed and champion all that you do in DEA!

In conclusion, DEA is the key and do what you can and overtime increase. Do not jump in a deep pool if you can’t swim but go into the shallow water first and then tread to differ water over a period of time. Like life, “you must crawl before you can walk”.
