Midnight Before Dawn

Sometimes our troubles, tribulations seem more than we can bear.

Our days appear to be dreary, dark as midnight, while our hear tear.

Wondering, “Why me? Why not someone else?” as the story goes.

Everyone experiences pains, some hide it, while others let it shows.

Without failure, if we change our perspective on our situation

or if we compare our situation with another’s, degradation,

somehow our situation is not as bad as it seems,

all is just for a season, as God has this day deemed.

For without darkness, there can be no light.
