LA & DMV Got Heart! Poetry Saves the Day! Life lessons

Thinking outside of the box, will get you results outside of the box! Everyone knows going to the DMV can be heart wrenching and painful with the long wait lines and workers who are void of emotions.

“f you don’t think outside of the box, you may just get stuck inside of a cubicle.”

My registration had to be renewed and I tried to renew online using my credit card but now DMV is charging a fee to use your credit card online. Bomber!! So the next best thing to pay with my credit card was to go in person to my local DMV office. Lately, there had been so much news coverage of the DMV pertaining to the unusually long lines and how people arrive extremely early to be able to get in and out after a reasonable time of waiting. Most of the time, didn’t happen to their dismay.

For a nine o'clock opening, I have seen lines form at 7:00 AM and even then the lines were very extremely long. So now you can imagine how I dreaded joining such a long line waiting to renew my registration. My registration was due in a week and I had no other choice but to phase my reality of waiting.

Last Thursday after an early meeting, I decided I had no choice but to just do it no matter what. The time was 8:30AM and I thought, “I’ll bring lots of busy work while I waited.” I arrived no lines outside. I was…
