Getting your nails done is a fashion statement for many from the French tips, gels, special designs of any imagination and acrylics nails are super popular.
Some young girls feels like it’s a rite of passage toward their femininity and being cool. Almost like cigarette smoking, whereas many starting smoking to be cool and be apart of the in crowd.
Some ladies and men, nowadays feel like they are not fully dressed until their nails are manicured in some fashion. Some go so far as to have each finger with a different color and designs, while others are adding diamonds and other studs. The creativity with nail art is extensive and expanding.
You don’t have any nails or they are short and stubby, get the extensions and you are now among the elite that feel you are making a fashion statement and your wardrobe is complete. No matter what we do in life there are always pros and cons and may vary depending on each experiences with nail treatment.
My trip to the salons were harrowing, long wait time and the drying time seem to take forever but the end results were always flattering. I have never had gels or acrylic or never had to. My nails are naturally long and hard. Some say the hardness is a sign of good health. I say its genetics. Nail salons, like hair salons always had a smell.
