How to deal with Your “In Basket!”

Lighten up, just enjoy life, smile more, laugh more, and don’t get so worked up about things.

Life will pass you by as you are so focused on your “In Basket” and on your dying bed, guess what your “In Basket” will yet have stuff to do in it. This is our profound reality. Somethings are in our control and some aren’t, emptying your “In Basket” is out of your control. In life, one issues solved, another pops up.

We were renovating our new house and thought once we got the new windows installed and the new staircase redesigned, we could relax and just enjoy it all. No sooner than that was done, the newly bought microwave started making a loud noise, the window installer smudged the windows and had to return to remove the smudges, and then the plumber needed to come for the bathroom, these are just a few items that landed in the “In Basket” along with the many items waiting attention. Life happens will you’re living so take a little time to enjoy the view.

So off to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji Island we went. Realizing that our “In Basket” will forever be, decided we needed a well deserved vacation. It was a cruise and we left all my cares behind along with the “In Basket”. Guess what, not only was the “In Basket” still there waiting there upon our return, a few other…
