‘Burning more calories requires getting your metabolism to burn more undesired fat. Burning undesired fat and maintaining your weight requires that you eat certain metabolism boosting foods.

Before I begin my workout everyday, I make sure that I eat complex carbohydrates or drink some type of protein content drink. By doing this it gives me energy and increases my metabolism. Higher metabolism adds to your energy dispensation. There are many foods that can build your metabolite and lead to body weight maintenance.

Protein-Rich Foods — meat, fish, eggs, dairy, legumes, nuts and seeds, could help increase your metabolism for a few hours. Legumes and pulses, such as lentils, peas, chickpeas, beans and peanuts, are particularly high in protein compared to other plant foods. Legumes and pulses are high in protein, fiber and certain amino acids, which are thought to have metabolism-boosting properties. In-jesting these foods causes the body to use more energy. Your body requires a number of calories to digest, absorb and process nutrients in your meals. These protein-rich foods also reduce the drop in metabolism by assisting your body in holding onto its muscle mass.
