“The Chickens have come home to roost!” History once covered-up is now being unveiled in “Watchmen”, which will depict what happened in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the Black Wall Street community aka Greenwood and how the massacre was covered up and removed from newspapers and archives while the Black became silence with fear with no recourse for rebuilding due to declining claims from insurance companies.

Many years ago, I heard about “Black Wallstreet” via a videotape and was so moved that I contacted the producers and writers. Thereafter, I ordered the book, Black Wallstreet, as I wanted to learn more about a piece of well hidden history regarding the massacre of African Americans who were very prosperous during the 1920’s. After reading the book, I wrote a letter to the Ron Wallace, one of the authors and later visited with him on a book tour in our home to hear first hand of his journey in writing the book, “Black Wallstreet.”
