Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the United States, killing 299,578 women in 2017 — or about 1 in every 5 female deaths. Being informed will make the difference in a better healthier life. Some things we can’t prevent like age but dis ease in the body often go unchecked until it’s too late.

Instead of all these food or medicine commercials on television, how about more prevention commercials pertaining to women’s hearts and how susceptible we are as we get older.

Today, ladies we have come a long way and yet have a long way to go. As we embark on the 22 Century, there are medical research biases when it comes to women’s heart health verses men. Recently it was declared that men from ages 65 to 75 who had smoked more than 100 cigarettes should have an ultrasound to detect or rule out an abdominal aortic aneurysm. What about the ladies?

Women have smoked and do smoked, where’s a mandated to get tested also like the men. Again, ladies have to fend for themselves and in some cases it could be too late. Read the below article and see the disparity between men and ladies being checked for heart…
