Love begets love and does the heart wonders even if the brain can’t remember, the spirit does.

Early rise on Saturday morning for our drive to Alabama so mother can visit with her nieces, nephews, their children, other relatives and to revisit her hometown and surrounding neighborhoods. Mother is matriarchal, the oldest living of all her siblings, therefore all celebrate her with much fanfare and adoration.

We got dressed, ate breakfast, finished packing and loaded up the car for our trip to Georgianna and Chapman, Alabama. Mother loves all people and especially her family so I thought while visiting with her for one week the best priceless memory would be a visit back to her hometown where she longed to return on many occasions since my late father passed away. So I decided this was the time to make it all happen and take her back to her roots and allow her roots to champion her. Somethings money can’t buy and this was one of them.
