Curiosity Extends Morrie Markoff’s Longevity — 108 Years Old
A perfect example of how to live life to its fullest every day.
Often there are examples in life that come forth to guide many people who seek longevity, forward to enjoying their life to a ripe old age, and do it with such grace. Mr. Morrie Markoff, a New York native, has been blessed to celebrate his 108th birthday while a lot of other even younger centenarians are suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s or are deceased.
Markoff shared his tip to longevity which is his curiosity and he conveyed that you are never too old to learn new things. He claimed it has nourished his longevity. He has lived so long that he has made history as being the 24th oldest person in the U.S. according to his son.
At the young age of 103, he published “Keep Breathing,” his memoir as a result of many people asking his key to longevity. His book was sold at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. He has started to write his second book, crawls out of bed in the middle of the night when he gets an idea, and writes everything in longhand. On his blog, daily he writes 30 to 40 pages of stream of consciousness.
