Well the flavor of the day changes once again. I remember about twenty years ago, it was stated that vitamins were a good supplement for your diet because we didn’t get enough nutrients from our everyday diet. Flash forward twenty years, today it is being stated that maybe they are not all that. Well, read on and be your own judge.
My husband has a stash of vitamins that he takes daily and I must admit I take about four each day. They are Vitamin D, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, probiotic and calcium. I make a concerted effort to acquire some minerals, vitamins and proteins in my diet. Had a blood test done recently and the doctor advised my vitamin D level was low and Vitamin A and E were recommended by another doctor for healing a wound that I have that has been lingering for awhile due to a prior surgery . Calcium with Vitamin D is touted as beneficial for women due to the depletion of estrogen and to improve bone density. This is my vitamin story.
