Always seek to praise another

Even if it’s not your brother

Accept criticism to construct

Reject criticism you self destruct

Mopping and potting, bad response

Sometimes making you feel like a dunce

Insecurity with job, family and self

Your heart open, displayed on a shelf

Any criticism fuel on the amber feeds

Burning you internally, totally like a weed

Perfectionism, a trait your self enslaved

Defecting growth, an early grave

Much criticism, every fiber upset

Forcing you to repel like a superjet

Even though you did you very best

Sometimes unnoticed, and laid at rest

Work, labor, not your personhood

But just the medium, for your good

Jesus was often and many criticized

Because of him, still I rise

God criticize for your betterment

Transforming you into quite a mint

Parents criticize to make you strong

Helping you to avoid some wrong

Life is always about living and learning

Why not take heed and enjoy the journey.
